How many straw men, Quote mining, and logical fallacies did you find in 'The God Delusion'?

I stopped at 500 (really! i%26#039;m not making this up, if you want we can start from page one !!!)

i have 100 pages left to read

i know i%26#039;ve been nice to Dawkins, so people with IQ who are not sheep to atheism

how many strawmen do you think he managed to shoe-horn into that book?

How many straw men, Quote mining, and logical fallacies did you find in %26#039;The God Delusion%26#039;?
Without strawmen, Atheists would have nothing! Read David Berlinski%26#039;s %26quot;The Devil%26#039;s Delusion%26quot; now!
Reply:If you want to argue with Dawkins, fine. It%26#039;s a free country. If the Internet is anything, it%26#039;s a free markeplace of ideas, and everyone has the same chance to speak, to make his case.

If I disagreed with, say, Pat Robertson, would you rather I just called him a liar and a communist and an idiot, and say that he%26#039;s old and ugly and he talks funny, or would you rather I exlplained calmly and rationally just what it was that he said that I disagreed with, and why, and then explain my side of the story? Which approach would you be more likely to take seriously?

I do believe in God, but I think Dawkins makes some excellent points. He%26#039;s drawn his share of fire, just as you might expect, both from irrational bashers and more rational thinkers. I%26#039;m sure there are websites that detail actual rebuttals to his arguments.
Reply:No clue, I have never read it. I have read and research claims made by creationists, and have found them to be lacking in anything remotely resembling intellectual honesty.

Edit:

By the way you may wish to give an example of where he uses a straw man argument or %26quot;quote mines%26quot;...
Reply:I don%26#039;t particularly like Dawkins, to be honest. He%26#039;s too arrogant for my taste, even if I%26#039;m also a firm atheist.

But even in my dislike for Dawkins, I%26#039;ve never caught him using even one straw man.

So, please, show us the proof. I%26#039;m curious.
Reply:GIVE JUST ONE EXAMPLE!!!

This question is so stupid that it doesn%26#039;t really deserve a response.

Christers don%26#039;t like having their absurd BS being exposed as such.

%26quot;People who don%26#039;t like having their beliefs being laughed at shouldn%26#039;t have such funny beliefs.%26quot;

Reply:I don%26#039;t need to read this book.

I wasted to many years reading the Bible to start wasting even more time reading things against it.

If something is broke throw it out, don%26#039;t document it tit for tat, just move on.
Reply:To you, the page numbers alone are probably logical fallacies.
Reply:Oh there are no more logical fallacies in this book than there are in the bible.
Reply:you may want to explain the term %26quot;straw man%26quot; for those who think you are talking about farming
Reply:but you bought the book? you fundies love dawkins really!!
Reply:Give us one, please...
Reply:I like how all the christians think we all read Dawkin%26#039;s.

and name ONE
Reply:Give an example please. until then I%26#039;m assuming you%26#039;re trolling.

EDIT: LOL! You%26#039;re retarded! Dawkins (along with millions of other people) doesn%26#039;t want creationism taught in the SCIENCE class! Why? BECAUSE ITS NOT SCIENCE! And unfortunately for you kid, even the courts agree.
Reply:I find it very interesting that in all this long rambling set of references, you haven%26#039;t managed to quote a single strawman or quote mine. You may wish to look up the definition of strawman here: http://www.nizkor.org/features/fallacies...

However, I did recently go to a talk where the speaker accused Dawkins of quoting out of context by - wait for it - quoting him out of context. Needless to say, the audience (who were mainly liberal theists) was not convinced.
