Has this ever happened to you?

I was working for an auto repair shop that the boss was closing down. I got transferred to another shop. On the 2nd day at 5:15, we close at 5:30, a mimivan pulls up, a very large woman gets out. I say, %26quot;I bet this whale want%26#039;s a $9.99 oil change.%26quot;











The manager says, %26quot;She get%26#039;s them for free.%26quot; I say, %26quot;how%26#039;s that?%26quot;





The manager says, %26quot;Because she%26#039;s my wife. You can go home now.%26quot;





When I get home, the answering machine is blinking with a message from the owner telling me he will mail me my last check.





Any one have a shoe horn to help me get my foot out of my mouth.

Has this ever happened to you?
Well, I hope you learned something. What gives you the right to speak about anyone that way? Didn%26#039;t your mama teach you anything about being a decent person? You should be ashamed not only because you got canned, but because you were so immature and insensitive.


Do not expect to get your job back, but you could man up and write a note to the boss saying you are sorry about being so insensitive and that you have learned your lesson about being judgmental and disrespectful. You might feel better if you did this. I am assuming you actually realize you were way off base to make this kind of comment.
